Golf Certificates
If you own a property in any of the five parks associated with the golf course, or if you are renting, you have the option of purchasing a Golf Certificate for Three Parks Fairways. Owning a golf certificate gives the owner access to discounted golf pricing. If you are a renter and do not come back the next season, you must sell the certificate within two years or forfeit your right to the certificate.
How do you get a Golf Certificates?
- When buying a home in Caliente, Florence Gardens, or Tierra Del Sol, the buyer should ask the seller if they have a golf certificate and if it will transfer with the purchase of the property. If they do have one, they may elect to sell it to the buyer or include it in the transaction.
- If the seller has no Golf Certificate, the buyer at the close of Escrow can purchase a Golf Certificate directly from Three Parks Fairways. The current rate for a Gold Certificate is $250 plus annual dues payment of $60. Each year, all certificate holders must pay their annual dues before being able to purchase the discounted golf.
- Some home owners are not golfers and do not need a Golf Certificate. Instead of paying the annual dues, they elect to sell their certificate at various price ranges. There is no structured location to go to and find someone selling a Golf Certificate on their own. If you purchase a golf certificate from a current owner in any of the five parks, there is a $60 transfer fee to be paid to Three Parks Fairways, Inc.
- When accepting a golf pass from a seller, the buyer should check with the golf club to ensure all back annual fees are paid in full or they would need to bring them current prior to being able to utilize the golf certificate.
What are the benefits of owning a Golf Certificate?
- Reduced golf rates. The difference in golf rates for Certificate holders (Considered voting members), non-certificate holders (considered non-voting members) and the general public are significant.
- Access to Monthly Golf Banquet ($7.00 beginning of season fee then just $2.00 per person for banquet dinner).
- Winter season Wednesday Men’s league sign-up 7-days in advance. Non-certificate holder signs up 4-days in advance.
- The Golf Certificate covers the household so only one is needed per residence.
- Guest of the owner while residing in their home may also utilize the reduced certificate holder rates.
- The estimated savings per month owning a golf certificate is $30 for a single golfer and $60 for a household couple.
